Board of Directors

Fred Traversi has been Chairman of the Board since 2005. Fred is an accomplished, results-driven executive that has been recognized for leading business transformations to accelerate growth and improve profitability in both the manufacturing and service sectors. Throughout his career Fred has held Executive positions at PepsiCo, Lexmark International, Digital Equipment Corporation, and General Electric. Fred holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics, magna cum laude, from Colby College, and a Master’s degree in business administration from Harvard University. He also serves as a Board Director for three organizations.

Bill Hanson has been a member of the AdvizeX Board of Directors since 2006. Bill draws from deep roots in the technology field, with over 15 years experience at the VP level at the Digital Equipment Corporation. In 1994 he co-founded the Leaders for Manufacturing (LFM) Dual Masters Degree Graduate program at MIT where he spent 10 years as the Industry Co-director. Hanson has also been awarded several prestigious industry and academic awards to accompany various published articles, which have helped to position him as one of the top thought leaders in manufacturing and technology. Bill holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.

Pierrette Kelly has been a member of the AdvizeX Board or Directors since 2006. Pierrette has over 35 years of executive and management experience. Most recently, she served as Vice President and General Manager of CVS.com, and prior to that she spent 17 years with Digital Equipment Corporation and almost 10 years in the contract manufacturing and engineering services industry. Pierrette holds a Bachelors Degree from RI College, and a Masters Degree from American International College. She has also completed advanced graduate studies at Columbia University and the Aspen Institute.

Bob Tommasino has been a member of the AdvizeX Board or Directors since 2006. Bob is presently General Counsel to the Massachusetts Property Insurance Underwriting Association, and the Rhode Island Joint Reinsurance Association. Bob actively participates in significant issues confronting the insurance industry, including availability of insurance in urban and coastal communities of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and State of Rhode Island, arson for profit, coverage for clean-up of toxic materials, crime and terrorism insurance, and lead poisoning. In addition, he serves on governmental and insurance industry committees and represents property and casualty insurance industry interests before executive regulatory and legislative policymakers, plus civil litigation involving personal injury, environmental, property damage, and insurance coverage questions. Bob holds a Bachelors degree cum laude from Colby College and Juris Doctor with Honors degree from the University Of Maine Law School.
