John Brier is the Vice President of Technology Solutions for AdvizeX Technologies, a leading information technology infrastructure solutions provider with ten regional offices across the US. Mr. Brier is an experienced technologist recognized for the innovative use of information technology to create business advantage. In his current role he is responsible for setting the technical direction for AdvizeX by working closely with OEM partners and leading the technical team to develop and support customer solutions.

Prior to joining AdvizeX in 2009 Mr. Brier was the Senior Director for a $200 million global services business at EMC Corporation, the $13B leader in storage and information management. In 9 years with EMC Mr. Brier advanced through senior business technology roles broadening the EMC value proposition in providing solution offerings to customers and partners.

Mr. Brier began his career as the Director of information Services for Goodwill Industries of Pittsburgh where he continues to serve as a Board Member. He was recruited to Federated Investors, the seventh largest mutual fund company, to manage IT infrastructure.

Mr. Brier earned his bachelor degree in Computer Systems from Grove City College in Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from University of Pittsburgh.
